Our Co-Pastor

Evangelist Shereé S. Sykes

A native of Lynchburg, VA, Co-Pastor Shereé is the second oldest of five daughters born to the late Edward and Edith R. Smith. She is the Co-Pastor of Shekijah Preparation Assembly where she and her husband of thirty-seven years, Bishop Terence M. Sykes, have been partners in pastoral ministry for thirty years.  In addition to being an anointed prayer warrior, deliverance preacher, teacher, and Gospel recording artist, Co-Pastor Shereè is a loving mother of two sons, Terence-Christian (Valencia), and Jordan Christopher (Cherish). Bishop and Co-Pastor Sykes also have two beautiful granddaughters, Zy’ona Symone Sykes (ten years old), Talia Rose Sykes (four years old), and one handsome grandson, Noah Elijah Edwardo Sykes (one year old).

God has graced Co-Pastor Shereè with a powerful ministry of deliverance, prayer, and wisdom. Her unique presentation of truth from the Word of God has caused many to be delivered and made free by the power of our Awesome God.

A 2012 recipient of the Master of Religion degree from New Life School of Ministry and Bible Institute in Esmont, VA, Evangelist/Co-Pastor Sykes is a valuable asset to the growth and maturity of Shekijah. She is a virtuous woman and is, in word and deed, blessed!

Among other duties, Co-Pastor Sykes is the founder of PeaceFilled Solutions LLC, and specializes in relationship and personal growth coaching in an effort to help individuals fulfill their life’s potential. Co-Pastor Sykes has also recorded a solo music project entitled "FINALLY!" which features all original music written and composed by her husband, Bishop Terence M. Sykes, as well as an anointed prayer CD entitled "Let Us Pray".

Co-Pastor Sykes’ favorite scripture to quote can be found in 1 Corinthians 2:2 that says, “For I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” Once experiencing the ministry of this powerful woman of God, you will affirm that she is one who is used mightily of God, and the Lord working with her, confirms the Word with signs following.
